|Berge Bulk Maritime Pte. Ltd. Conducts Ocular Inspection at NPMTCI|

Berge Bulk Maritime Pte. Ltd. visited NPMTCI on March 3, 2020 for an ocular inspection of the former’s TRANSAS simulators. The visiting team included Capt. Nelson Sotelo, Marine Suprintendent, Quality Assurance and Mr. Vijay Jeyakumaran, Marine Training Manager.
The primary purpose of the inspection was to evaluate possibilities for the following training requirements:
The team was received by the Owner’s Representative, Mr. Stavros J. Tiliakos and lead them to a short tour of the training facilities of NPMTCI. After the ocular inspection, a round table discussion followed highlighting competency assessment processes and conduct of practical exercises in training courses using the TRANSAS simulator.
Berge Bulk Maritime Pte. Ltd. is one of the principals of BW Shipping Philippines Inc. which was represented during the visit by its Recruitment and Competency Manager, C/E Manuel Umali.
