Last May 15 – 17, 2023, Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center Inc. (NPMTCI) hosted a Chemical Tanker Seminar. The seminar was attended by eighteen (18) crewmembers from one of Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center’s clients. Our NPMTCI instructors and other external speakers delivered the topics for this seminar. The client Marine Superintendents joined this seminar and held an interactive talk with the trainees via the Hologram after being beam-delivered from Cyprus.

The seminar was deemed a success after the positive responses from the trainees who attended. It was noted that the three-day seminar was both enjoyable and interactive, with excellent conversations with everyone involved and various new things learned from the speakers. Many participants felt that the seminar was essential for their safety onboard their assigned vessels, and they wished that all crew members joining Chemical Tanker must attend the same. They expressed gratitude to their company and Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center’s efforts in planning such an event. Overall, the trainees agreed about the importance of learning and guaranteeing a safe operation onboard chemical tanker ships.
