Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center Inc. (NPMTCI) had a successful pilot virtual orientation for Mental Health delivered by Mr. Charles Watkins, Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Mental Health Support Solutions (MHSS) last 30 March 2022.

The said awareness/seminar was attended by NPMTCI Stakeholders. Which aims to help their seafarers/crew to develop resilience and communication techniques for motivation and conflict resolution at sea. Strengthen the mindset of responsibility and the effectiveness of open communication. This also helps to create strategy for social interaction onboard and recognize crew members at risk.

Furthermore, last 25 March 2022 the pilot face-to-face classes for Cyber Security with Cenmar Maritime Employees was successfully delivered by Chief Engineer Hezron Valenzuela. Where, the Maritime Administrators are encouraged to ensure that cyber risks are appropriately addressed in existing safety management systems (as defined in the ISM Code) no later than the first annual verification of the company’s Document of Compliance after 1 January 2021.
