
World Maritime University Visits Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center Inc. as Part of Maritime Education and Training Field Study in the Philippines
June 24, 2025 – Parañaque City, Philippines — Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center Inc. proudly welcomed delegates from the World Maritime University (WMU) as part of their Field Study to the Philippines Maritime Education and Training (MET). This prestigious visit forms part of WMU’s 5-day itinerary in the country and marks a significant milestone for Nautilus Pacific, having been selected as one of only two maritime training centers visited by the globally recognized institution.
The WMU delegation, composed of international maritime professionals, scholars, and students, was given an in-depth tour of the Nautilus Pacific facilities. The visit provided the opportunity to showcase the training center’s advanced simulators, technical laboratories, specialized maritime courses, and its commitment to safety, competence, and global maritime standards. The guests also engaged with Nautilus Pacific’s management and training team in a fruitful exchange of insights and best practices on maritime education and competency development.
